MAGISTERIAL DOCUMENTS
Following, we present a recompilation of ecclesiastical documents about culture and inculturation, which is one of the most important and debated themes in Latin America during the last decades.
The selection criteria has been wide; it contains books which somehow include a faith-culture relationship and of faith inculturation or of the gospel. The emphasis in Latin America is evident. Concerning the papal magisterium, our recompilation presents various documents of Benedict XV, Pius XI, Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul II and some of Benedict XVI. There are also organisms from some Vatican Congregations, as the Evangelization of the Peoples, the Divine Cult and the Sacrament Discipline. To complete the recompilation there is an ample group of, among others, the writings of the Pontifical Council of Culture and from the Conferences of CELAM (Medellin, Puebla, St. Domingo and Aparecida) or from the International Theological Commission.
